Tasmanian Hand Made Papers
top (63K)

I am a papermaker, textile artist and teacher working in NW Tasmania and my special interest is developing my skills with pulp painting, creating subtle rythmical patterns with layers of dyed pulp.

I work from Heron Studio at Sisters Beach, a small coastal village within the Rocky Cape National Park. It is an extremely beautiful place and inspires me to work to reflect the natural beauty of the Tasmanian Landscape.

This site is a series of galleries containing examples of landscapes, seascapes, forest scenes, Tasmanian impressions and art works using my hand made papers.

Also included is a special tribute to Charlie Turner and his Banksia Studio - a truely unique Tasmanian papermaker, chemist, botanist and artist. Soon to come is some video footage taken in 1994.

If you are visiting Tasmania you can find my work selling from Creative Paper Tasmania in Burnie the Penguin Market, Penguin and Point Collectables, Wrest Point, Hobart.

So please enjoy and I look forward to hearing from you.
